Shakita Alford, also known as Ki Shot It, is the heart and creative mind behind Ki Shot It Visuals, an Atlanta-based photography and videography brand built from her love for capturing people, moments, and stories through her lens.
For Shakita, photography is personal. She doesn’t simply want to take a great picture—she wants to capture the feeling behind the moment. She loves helping people see themselves in a way they may not always see themselves: confident, beautiful, powerful, and authentically them.

Her journey as a sickle cell warrior has played a meaningful role in shaping who she is today. Living with sickle cell has taught Shakita to appreciate life differently, to cherish the moments that matter, and to keep pursuing the things that bring her purpose and joy. Her camera has become one of the ways she celebrates life and creates something meaningful from her experiences.
When Shakita is behind the camera, she brings her personality, creativity, and genuine energy into every session. She wants her clients to feel comfortable enough to laugh, be themselves, try something different, and trust her to capture the moments they may want to remember forever.
