Two hours can cover the key moments of a short launch or gathering when the schedule is focused. A longer program may need more time, especially if guest arrivals, speeches, activities, and a closing moment happen hours apart. Start with the timeline rather than guessing at a number of photos.
Mark the moments you cannot miss
Write down the event start and end times, then mark arrivals, a welcome, a reveal or announcement, key speakers, performances, and group portraits. If a sponsor needs photographs of signage or a display, add those details to the list. Share the schedule with Ki before the event.
Leave room for people and atmosphere
Guest portraits and candid photographs serve different purposes. Posed images help guests and organizers remember who was there. Candid images show interaction, energy, and the experience of being in the room. Decide which matters most for your website, recap, or promotional content.
When to ask for more than two hours
Consider longer coverage if the event has multiple locations, a separate red carpet, a long program, or moments spread across the day. Tell Ki the venue and approximate guest count so she can discuss a suitable coverage plan.
Ki’s Event Photography starts at $750 for two hours, with candid moments, guest portraits, event details, and a curated gallery of edited images. Longer events are quoted to fit the schedule.
