Your headshot is often the first photograph someone sees when they find your business, speaker page, or professional profile. A useful portrait starts with a simple decision: what should that person understand about you when they see it?

Choose its first destination

If the image is for a professional profile, you may want a close crop that reads clearly at a small size. For a website or press page, leave room around the subject so the photo can work beside text. Make a list of where the finished image will go and share it before the shoot.

Bring one look that represents you now

Choose an outfit you would happily wear to meet the people you want to work with. Check the fit while standing and sitting, and think about how its color works against the planned setting. Bring a lint roller or a small touch-up kit if useful. You don’t need a new wardrobe to make an intentional image.

Think beyond a single expression

A headshot can feel confident and approachable at the same time. During the session, try a few changes in posture and expression. Tell Ki if you prefer a direct, warm, relaxed, or more editorial look.

Ki’s The Introduction headshot session starts at $325 for 30 minutes, one outfit and setting, and two retouched images. The $425 option gives you 60 minutes, two outfits, one setting, and three retouched images.
